Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) is a non-governmental, voluntary organization that has been working towards women's empowerment and skill development since 1995. BNSS collaborates with various state and central government departments and ministries to implement diverse projects.

SHG-Bank Linkage Programme- NABARD
(SHG Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programme)

Funded by- National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD)

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) successfully implemented the SHG-Bank Linkage Programme under National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in Madhya Pradesh. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has a number of programs to support Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Madhya Pradesh, including the SHG-Bank Linkage Programme, Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programme (LEDP), and Skill Development Programmes (MEDPs). This programme focuses on women’s development, building on lessons learned from earlier projects that demonstrated women’s self-help groups are an effective means of improving the living conditions of poor households. It ensures that poor rural women have a wider range of opportunities and support and strengthens women’s self-help groups and provides access to financial services. The project improves income generation by developing participants’ skills, and providing market and policy support.

Tejaswini Rural Women's Empowerment Programme
(Rural Women's Empowerment through SHGs/Federation)

Funded by- Mahila Vitta Vikas Nigam (MVVN) & IFAD

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) successfully implemented the Tejaswini Rural Women's Empowerment Programme in Mandla District of Madhya Pradesh. This programme focuses on women’s development, building on lessons learned from earlier projects that demonstrated women’s self-help groups are an effective means of improving the living conditions of poor households. It ensures that poor rural women have a wider range of opportunities and support and strengthens women’s self-help groups and provides access to financial services. The project improves income generation by developing participants’ skills, and providing market and policy support. It increases women’s access to functional literacy and labour-saving infrastructure, and boosts their participation in local governance. It also supports government policies that empower women.

Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement Project (BCRLIP)- Skill Development Programme

Funded by- M.P. Forest Department 

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) successfully implemented the Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement Project (BCRLIP) Programme in Chhindwara District of Madhya Pradesh. The Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement Project (BCRLIP) aims to integrate biodiversity conservation with rural livelihood enhancement. It supports sustainable livelihood practices like eco-tourism and agroforestry while conserving critical habitats and ecosystems. essentially, it focuses on developing skills related to conservation and sustainable livelihood options within the context of a landscape approach to biodiversity protection. The program primarily targets people residing in areas with high biodiversity, empowering them to actively participate in conservation efforts. Training covers areas like wildlife monitoring, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism management, resource management, and community-based conservation planning.

Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana (AHVY)
(Cluster Development Programme for Handicraft Artisan)

Funded by- Ministry of Textile, Govt. of India

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) has made significant strides in empowering handicraft artisans in Chachoda Block of Guna District through the Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana (AHVY). We have successfully conducted a Baseline Survey and mobilization efforts, alongside Design and Development Workshops and Skill-Upgradation training for over 550 handicraft artisans in Jute Craft, helping them form their Self Help Groups. Additionally, BNSS has played a crucial role in facilitating market linkages and promoting their handmade products, enabling artisans to sell their creations and generate income. BNSS is dedicated to supporting approximately 6000 handicraft artisans by assisting them in registering with the Ministry of Textile to obtain their Artisan ID Card. By facilitating this process, BNSS aims to enhance the livelihoods of these skilled individuals and promote the rich heritage of Crafts

Nai Roshni
(Leadership Development Programme for Minority Women)

Funded by- Ministry of Minority Affairs Govt. of India

“Nai Roshni”, a Leadership Development Programme for Minority Women is implemented in 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 & 2017-18. The objective of the scheme is to empower and instill confidence among minority women, including their neighbours from other communities living in the same village/locality, by providing knowledge, tools and techniques for interacting with Government systems, banks and other institutions at all levels.

“Nai Roshni” programme is run by Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti in Bhopal and Nagpur city. It includes various training modules like Leadership of women, Educational Programmes, Health and Hygiene, Swachch Bharat, Financial Literacy, Life Skills, Legal Rights of Women, Digital Literacy and Advocacy for Social and behavioural change.

Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM)
(IEC Activities under SBM in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur etc.)

Funded by- Urban Local Bodies (i.e. Nagar Palik Nigam- Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Chhindwara and other ULBs)

Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) main objective is Promote behavior change among individuals and communities to adopt good hygiene practices, Encourage the use of toilets and improve sanitation infrastructure, Create awareness about the importance of cleanliness and its impact on health, environment, and economy, Encourage individuals to adopt safe sanitation practices, such as using toilets and maintaining personal hygiene, Increase awareness about the importance of proper waste management and hygiene, Foster a sense of ownership and responsibility among communities to sustain the Swachh Bharat Mission's goals.

Skill Development Training
(For OBC & Minority unemployed youth)

Funded by- OBC & Minority Welfare Department, Govt. of M.P.

The Skill Development Training programme is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower unemployed youth from Other Backward Classes (OBC) and minority communities. Conducted by BNSS, a renowned organization dedicated to social welfare, and funded by the OBC and Minority Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, this programme seeks to bridge the gap between the skills possessed by young individuals and the requirements of the industry. By providing training in industry-relevant skills, the programme aims to enhance the employability and self-sufficiency of OBC and minority youth, ultimately contributing to their socio-economic upliftment. Through this initiative, BNSS and the Government of Madhya Pradesh endeavour to create a brighter future for marginalized youth, enabling them to lead dignified and productive lives.

Social Mobilization & Institutional Development (SM&ID)
(Formation of SHGs/ALFs/CLFs and their Training)

Funded by- Urban Local Bodies of Madhya Pradesh & UADD M.P.

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) successfully implemented the Social Mobilization & Institutional Development (SM&ID) component of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) across approximately 17 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This initiative focused on forming and strengthening community-led institutions, including Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Area Level Federations (ALFs), and City Level Federations (CLFs). BNSS provided training and capacity-building programs to these institutions, empowering urban poor women and promoting social cohesion. By implementing the SM&ID component, BNSS played a crucial role as a Resource Organization (RO) in enhancing the collective bargaining power of urban poor communities, ultimately contributing to their socio-economic development

Support to Urban Street Vendors
(Capacity Building Training for Street Vendors)

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) has successfully implemented the Capacity Building Training for Street Vendors under Support to Urban Street Vendors (SUSV) component of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) across approximately 08 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This program aims to empower street vendors enhancing their skills and knowledge, ultimately supporting their livelihoods and promoting sustainable urban development.  Our initiative focuses on raising awareness about digital payments, health and hygiene practices, government schemes, and available credit and subsidy facilities. By empowering individuals with this knowledge, we aim to enhance financial literacy and improve overall well-being within the community. Through workshops and outreach programs, we strive to ensure that everyone can access and benefit from these essential resources.

Sardar Patel Coaching Prashikshan Yojana
(Competitive  Exam Coaching  for OBC & Minority)

BNSS is pleased to announce the successful completion of competitive exam coaching for Railway, SSC, and IBPS, specifically tailored forBC and minority candidates in Bhopal, Sagar, and Narmadapuram districts. We are proud to have supported over 2,000 students in their preparation for these important exams. This scheme focuses on equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in competitive exams like Railway, SSC, and IBPS. Through dedicated coaching sessions, mentorship, and access to study materials, the program strives to bridge the educational gap and foster equal opportunities. This initiative was possible through the Sardar Patel Coaching & Prashikshan Yojana, funded by the M.P. Rajya Stariya Rojgar evam Prashikshan Kendra and the MP OBC & Minority Welfare, Government of M.P. Our dedication to fostering educational opportunities for these communities remains unwavering.

Pramod Mahajan Kaushalya and Udhyojakta Vikas Abhiyan (PMKUVA) - Skill Development Training Program

BNSS has successfully completed skill development training and placement for over 4,000 unemployed youth under the Pramod Mahajan Kaushalya and Udhyojakta Vikas Abhiyan (PMKUVA), funded by the Maharashtra State Skill Society (MSSDS). This initiative aims to empower young individuals with the skills needed for a brighter future and enhance their employability in today's competitive job market We are proud to contribute to the development of a skilled workforce in our community. This initiative is designed to empower young individuals with essential skills for a brighter future and to enhance their employability in today’s competitive market. Additionally, BNSS organized a State Level Job Fair in Maharashtra, resulting in the placement of more than 2,700 candidates in diverse industries. We remain committed to fostering a skilled workforce in our community.

Additionally, BNSS organized a District Level Job Fair with the support of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), further enhancing employment opportunities in Bhopal, Chhatarpur, and Nowgong. Together, we are making a significant impact on the lives of the urban poor in Madhya Pradesh.

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) is thrilled to share the successful implementation of the PM Street Vendor AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme. This micro-credit facility offers street vendors a collateral-free loan, empowering them to enhance their businesses. (PM SVANidhi) Scheme, an initiative dedicated to transforming the lives of street vendors across India. We understand the invaluable contribution of street vendors to our society and economy. Through PM SVANidhi, we aim to empower street vendors with financial support, access to technology, and training opportunities. Street vendor seeking assistance or a stakeholder looking to contribute, PM SVANidhi is  gateway to change. We are proud to have supported over 22,000 urban street vendors, helping them achieve financial independence and stability.

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti has successfully implementation Central Sector Scheme of "Research/Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Schemes including Publicity‟ with the support and funded by Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF), Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India. the main object of the prograam is To generate information and database on problems and requirements of Minorities through Operation Research/ Market Research/ Action Research, To collect information about development deficits through Baseline Surveys, Concurrent Monitoring of schemes being implemented by the Ministry, To formulate Annual Media Plan and carry out IEC activities through Multi media campaign involving Print media, electronic media and Outdoor Publicity for dissemination of information to generate awareness relating to schemes/ programmes and initiatives for Minorities...etc.

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) has successfully implemented a range of IEC activities under the HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme across various districts in Madhya Pradesh. As a committed support agency, BNSS plays a vital role in executing initiatives such as Nukkad Natak, wall paintings, rallies, and awareness programs that engage and inform the community. These efforts aim to foster a better understanding of HIV/AIDS and reduce stigma while promoting healthier behaviors. The HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme aims to educate and inform communities about the importance of prevention, testing, and treatment options available for those affected by the virus. Funded by Madhya Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (MPSACS), the programme reflects our dedication to public health and education in the region.

Jal Jeewan Mission (JJM)
(State Water and Sanitation Mission (SWSM)

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) has successful implementation of State Water and Sanitation Mission (SWSM) under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Sidhi and Chhindwara District of Madhya Pradesh as Implementing Support Agency (ISA). The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) is a program in Madhya Pradesh that aims to provide tap water to every rural household. The program includes building water supply infrastructure and improving drinking water sources. We play critical role as ISA partners in mobilizing and engaging the communities to plan, design, implement, manage, operate & maintain in-village water supply infrastructure. Our primarily focus on community mobilization, need assessment, capacity building of village level committees (like GPWSC/VWSC), and facilitating the creation of Village Action Plans (VAP) to ensure proper implementation of JJM projects in villages.

Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti (BNSS) is proud to announce the successful implementation of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) in Rajasthan and Odisha state as Vocational Training Provider (VTP). We have made a significant impact by reaching over 1,000 government schools and training more than 35,000 candidates across various sectors, including Beauty & Wellness, Security, Apparel, Tourism & Hospitality, Banking & Finance, Retail, Food, Sports, IT-ITes, Healthcare, and Automotive. As a dedicated Vocational Training Provider, we have deployed skilled Vocational Trainers and Coordinators in government schools to ensure quality education and training for our youth. Together, we are shaping a brighter future through vocational education!
